What are the Seven Patterns?

As you explore the patterns you will discover some ways to take better care of yourself and begin to build boundaries where you need them. If you find a pattern that fits for you, choose only one new boundary step at a time. When you have been practicing that step and feel successful, try another step. Be patient; this will take time.

Working, caretaking, loving, numbing, isolating, protecting and sacrificing may all have a place in your life. It is important to recognize if you are allowing your boundaries to also take care of you.
